A bridge from your
assistant to your IE life.
MCP is simply the way your assistant talks to tools. IEFlow gives it a structured connection to the university platforms you already use.
1. Choose a compatible host
Codex, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, OpenClaw, Antigravity and other local-MCP hosts can launch IEFlow on your computer. A local model is fine too when its host supports MCP. Your choice of AI model is yours.
2. Install and reload
Pick your host on the download page and run its command. It uses uv, installs into a persistent environment and preserves unrelated host settings. Reload MCP connections or reopen your host.
- Codex: reopen your session and check the MCP server list.
- Claude Desktop: fully quit and reopen the application.
- Claude Code: use
/mcpor reopen your session. - OpenClaw: refresh the MCP server connection.
- Antigravity: refresh installed MCP servers in settings; use
/mcpin the CLI.
3. Connect the services you use
Ask your assistant to get started with IEFlow. It can explain profiles, check sign-in status and open a requested login. Use your regular supported browser or an isolated profile. Passwords and MFA stay in the browser.
You can connect one platform first. A signed-out Careers account does not stop you using Blackboard. Routine queries do not open new sign-in windows behind your back.
4. Ask questions—and review actions
Free covers queries, searches, downloads and local saved-search checks. Pro adds supported actions. The assistant prepares the details first; you review the exact action before execution. Subscription access is not permission to act on your behalf.
5. Try membership when you are ready
Sign into an IEFlow product account, link your device and activate a trial after a successful service connection. A trial-ending notice may appear gently alongside results. It never blocks a Free query, and can be disabled in your account.
Where does my information go?
IEFlow’s billing service gets product-account and membership information, not your university session or the contents of your courses, messages or documents. Tool results go to the assistant you chose; that host may send them to its model provider. IEFlow itself does not supply or select your AI.
Something isn’t working?
Check the host connection, then ask the assistant to check IEFlow sign-in status. If IE requires a new login, use the explicit sign-in flow. Do not paste passwords, session cookies or raw logs containing personal data into feedback.
