A FEW STEPS. A LOT FEWER TABS.
Make your assistant
an IE assistant.
Free works without a product account. Install, connect your university services, and get your first useful answer.
01 · CHOOSE YOUR ASSISTANT
A setup command made for you.
Use an assistant that supports local MCP servers. Your browser-only ChatGPT tab is not a local MCP host.
First, install uv. It manages the small Python environment IEFlow needs.
Official uv installation guideuvx --from "https://ieflow.victorgurbani.com/api/packages/ieflow-1.0.0-py3-none-any.whl" ieflow setup --host codexRun this in your terminal. The installer creates a persistent installation, preserves other MCP entries and backs up the configuration it changes.
The website’s package channel is being connected. The setup command will be enabled when the release is published here.
02 · CONNECT, THEN ASK
Let your assistant guide you.
Reload your host’s MCP connection after setup. Then start with:
“Help me connect IEFlow to my IE accounts.”
Choose your regular browser or a separate profile. Complete IE sign-in and MFA in that browser—not in chat.
IEFlow does not need your university password. Product membership sign-in is separate from IE sign-in.
03 · YOUR FIRST USEFUL RESULT
Try one real question.
“What deadlines do I have this week?”
“Find events that match these interests.”
“Search internships in Madrid.”
